Since mid-2005, and based on their common interests relating to the development of the "digital home", Intel and ESDC subscribed a cooperation agreement for the implementation of new technologies in order to boost the development of the "digital home" in the region. Based on this agreement, Intel shares information and technical resources with ESDC, and provides advice and professional training to put the ESDC platform in line with the current Intel standards as to quality and technical resources.

Media Center (Spotlight)
Since May 2005, ESDC has been certified as a Microsoft Windows Media Service Provider in the region. This certification means that the platform complies with all Service Provider quality standards as regards encryption services (DRM: protection of rights), hosting, content management and distribution, and business solutions using Windows Media technology.
Since 2004, Microsoft’s Windows Media Player is equipped with the ESDC Online Store, thus distributing and marketing well-known contents throughout the region, and, since 2005, these contents are also available on the United States market.
